HP, the world's largest PC company is abandoning their consumer hardware division and putting all their energy into Cloud Computing. The company announced that it will discontinue operations for the TouchPad and WebOS phones and they are going to shed the PC business.
HP also announced that they will be purchasing Autonomy which is an enterprise infrastructure company and they plan to focus on cloud-based solutions for its enterprise customers.
We find it exciting that one of the largest PC manufacturers is shifting directions so dramatically to the cloud.
